Jordan & Emily met through work in the furniture industry. Emily worked at a website and marketing company out of Minneapolis, but spent much of her time traveling to conferences and markets. Jordan also traveled to each of these events with the non-profit association he still works for. They knew each other for about 5 years before they started dating. Jordan had a crush on Emily for several months (ok, ok, it was more like a year!) and finally was brave enough during one October furniture market to ask her out. Even though she couldn’t get away from her work event that evening, Emily continued talking to Jordan long after the event was over and after returning home to Minneapolis. It’s all history from there.
